It's been a little while...

Ever since I've been back at college I haven't really had much time to blog, unfortunately =(. But with each new follower that I get, I gain the inspiration to post at least one thing that's new.
It's been getting really busy up here and I'm trying to get everything nice and organized with my schedule and making sure I do all my assignments and things like that.
But...
ENOUGH OF ALL THAT.
Let's talk about today lol.
It's the final day of January, and where I'm at right now is where no one wants to be. Freezing temperatures, sleet, rain, and snow is on the way. Not good at all when you're trying to walk all around campus to get to your classes. I almost slipped on the way to class! One can only hope that they would cancel classes...but I highly doubt that.
On another note, I've been able to just barely survive the cold with this extremely cozy sweater that I chose to wear today. The sweater is actually pretty old and last week I decided to cut the turtle neck part off because I wasn't much of a fan of that. Now I love it!

Outfit of the day:
Cream colored sweater
Gray tank
Dark blue Jeans
Gold Heart Earrings
Gold Necklace: American Eagle
Gray Hat: Charming Charlie

As it says on my necklace...
Remember to Dream
Remember to Laugh
Remember to Love

*Shout out to Ashli! (if she reads this) Happy Birthday =)*

Busy, Busy, Busy!

This week has been kinda crazy. I had a lot of appointments to go to, packing needed to get done, and some things got either cancelled or delayed due to the snow that decided to arrive. I finally got a chance to get my hair done and my eyebrows arched just in time to head back to college. I really can't believe that winter break is over. It was so long that it almost felt like summer vacation, but I'm going to be leaving home tomorrow and it'll be time to hit the books again by tuesday. I really enjoyed my break and I also hope to enjoy the rest of my freshman year. Man, it seems like a lot of things will be happening this year. My sister is getting married and I, being her maid of honor, am going to have to write a toast in honor of her. I should just take things a day at a time and should hurry up and write this post because Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is coming on lol. Wish me luck with packing and for the semester ahead.

Fashion Inspiration: Josephine Baker

Pretty recently (like within the past year or so), I have been inspired fashion wise by many different people both past and present. I've decided to share my inspirations every now and then and number one on the list is Josephine Baker.

Josephine Baker is an actress, singer, and dancer who became famous in France but was originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She later became a citizen of France and even helped out in the French Resistance throughout WWII. Baker was also the first African American female to star in a major motion picture and to integrate an American concert Hall. Her accomplishments were pretty amazing, but I also see her as a fashion inspiration.

From her elaborate accessories to her sophisticated and luxurious gowns, Josephine Baker had amazing style and class.

I will always love her style!
She's a true inspiration.
Who are your inspirations?

Feels Like Autumn

It was pretty decent outside today. The weather wasn't too cold and I didn't even walk out the house today with a coat on. On another note, I didn't really get a chance to do much today but I have a couple of plans for the rest of the week. I can't believe I still have 2 more weeks of winter break left, but it's a good thing =). I better enjoy it while it lasts.

Outfit of the Day:
Cardigan: New York & Company
Long-sleeve Shirt: Forever 21
Black Jeans: Forever 21
Black Purse: Forever 21
Black Boots

Stila Lip Glaze Set Review

This last Christmas my mom got me a Stila lip glaze set from Sephora and it's great! The set contains 4 different colors (grapefruit, mauvelous, pinkle twinkle, & cherry pie) and I believe they were only about $20.
Here are a couple of pictures that I took to show you all the shades in the set.
